Science Engineering Fair & STEM Activities

Galveston ISD Science & Engineering Fair
Every year, GISD students design and carry out independent research projects that put their science and engineering skills to the test — building curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence along the way.
YOU Be the Judge
We need community members to help judge student projects. No science background required — just curiosity and encouragement for our students.

Register to JudgeThe GISD Science & Engineering Fair has given students the chance to ask real questions, design real experiments, and communicate what they find. The fair connects directly to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) science standards across every grade level, K–12, giving students hands-on practice with the scientific and engineering process.
