Crenshaw School's New Head Dog:
Mrs. Annette Dailey has stepped into her position here at Crenshaw with both feet firmly planted. Mrs. Dailey has been well accepted by both the students, staff and faculty in her position. With only a few months to go before summer break, changes have been subtle and distinct to her style of leadership. We hope to have her back next year with addtional positive changes at Crenshaw.
Once again, welcome home Mrs. Dailey
Crenshaw supports our troops!
Crenshaw has adopted a troop that is stationed in an area that does not have access to a shopping area for the troops. As a result they are in need of a few items. Help us help them by contributing to our efforts to provide them basic supplies. Here is a list of a few of the items we are collecting: Toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, baby wipes, deodorant, travel toothpaste, hand sanitizer, 4 blade razors, shaving cream, canned goods that DO NOT require a can opener, ramen noodles, mixed nuts, chips, tuna fish packets with mayo, crackers, cheezits, mac and cheese bowls, hamburger helper bowls, Gatorade and Crystal Light singles. We will be adopting them for the entire year so let's show our support! WE CARE! You may deliver these items to Crenshaw.

Crenshaw is special! Our very own Caitlyn Jackson, daughter of our own ELA teacher Catherine Jackson, came home from the UIL competition with a gold medal. The reason that this is special is that Caitlyn played the harp. We believe that it was the only harp at the competition. That also makes Crenshaw the only school in Galveston ISD with a harpest. Kudos also go out to the band director, John Allums, for his outstanding work with our junior high band soloists. We appreciate it so very much.
