EOC Calendar May 2013

All 9^th and 10^th grade students will take STAAR End of Course Exams, beginning May 6^th. Please be sure your child gets plenty of rest and arrives at school on time during testing days during these two weeks. Please view the calendar below to see when your child will test. Students take exams for courses in which they are currently enrolled. All students who have not yet passed an End of Course Exam from the previous year are required to take that test on the date listed below.

GEF Grant Committee voted to award $5,000 for AP Testing

This grant award is to improve the scores of test takers. It is academically focused on test performance rather than the amount of students who take the test. Although the board would like to see a continuation of an increase in test takers, the priority is to increase the passing test scores.

• Students must pass the tests with a 3 or higher in order to be reimbursed.

• Students who pass their tests with a 3 or higher, will be reimbursed $25/test.
