CMS Media Broadcasts from Oppe Elementary

CMS Media was live at Oppe Elementary on Thursday, March 1, learning about Oppe's coastal theme and fun things that happen there. Oppe students showed the CMS Media Team the school while the rest of the fourth graders watched the live transmission in the gym. A great feature the team saw was the amazing aquarium that hosts sea creatures harvested locally by the Oppe staff and students as well as a collection of shells and such.

Media Arts Academy Students Attend Great Day Houston Talk Show

Central Media Arts Academy broadcasted “The Dailey News” live, from KHOU – Great Day Houston’s set, on December 13. The students were invited to the Debra Duncan show and visited KHOU’s sets afterwards.

Aside from the excitement of being in the audience of a live television show, the students also observed first-hand how each member of the crew contributed to the show's success. The students interviewed several members of the crew who shared their broadcasting experiences, guidance on timing, insight to equipment mishaps, and the importance of working together.

Ms. Duncan invited CMS to visit again in the spring for more interviews and a partnership.
