GRETA'S GARDEN CLUB WE ARE IN FULL BLOOM! We are so excited to begin our Garden Club! The dates for 2012-2013 school year are as follows:
As a Reminder- In order to participate in the program students must have transportation after school at 4:15 and show responsible characteristics as an Oppe Dolphin in and out of the classroom. Students who sign up and miss two or more sessions will not be able to earn their certificate. |
SERVICE LEARNING PROJECT! Each month Oppe will host a new service learning project where students can give back to the community! If you have an idea for a service learning project please email Kathryn_Pistone@gisd.org This month Oppe will be collecting children's toys for the Ronald McDonald House! Please bring in toys by December 20th. |
GREEN TEAM! Oppe has representatives from each fourth grade class to be a part of the new Green Team in effort to help our campus promote healthy and safe environmental practices at school and in the community. As part of this program, the students will help with the school's recycling effort and plan new ways to incorporate good environmental habits throughout the campus. The Green Team will meet twice a month on Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:15. The dates for 2012-2013 school year are as follows:
